This piece is dedicated to my dad, Bill Brock, who passed away in 2020. With his loss I grappled with understanding the transformative process of life and death, along with the impact his life and loss had on transforming my own self-identity. Transitioning between depictions of absence to imagined landscapes of the Afterlife, this series investigates the veils between what was, what is, and what could be.
